If I would like to learn Workday HCM, I have to do\u2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So many of you will have this question in your mind when you are starting to learn Workday<\/a><\/span>. Being a trending technology, it\u2019s always better to have a proper plan. You know, there are no documents available out there to master them.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not going to cover any technical aspects of Workday, but I give you a brief description<\/span> of my experience of how I managed to learn Workday. It\u2019s always essential that we need to get the basics right.<\/p>\n

And if you are failed to do so, then it’s challenging to work on it.<\/p>\n

Here are a few things to learn about Workday.<\/p>\n

# who should learn Workday???<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whenever you start thinking to learn new technology<\/span>, definitely this question will arise in your mind.<\/p>\n

Even I too, got it. Anyone can learn Workday there are no restrictions on it.<\/p>\n

But, the HR background persons will have a slight edge over others.<\/p>\n

#1: Research about the topic<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unless you know the background of it, you cannot discover the technology better. At least, you should know the basic idea like why Workday<\/a> <\/span>got introduced.<\/p>\n

You know what????\u00a0 I was asked the same question when I gave my interview.<\/p>\n

Apart from that, you should also know what necessary things are required to master Workday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

#2: Prerequisites<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workday HCM<\/a><\/span> doesn\u2019t require any prerequisites. But, if you want to learn the advanced topics in Workday, then you must know HTML, EIB, etc.,<\/p>\n

#3: Search for Blogs and Videos<\/strong><\/p>\n

To have a basic understanding, you can search for blogs<\/a> <\/span>and videos<\/a><\/span>. Even though they do not provide complete information at least, you can gain insight into it.<\/p>\n

Or else, you can do one thing visit CloudFoundation<\/a><\/span>, <\/em><\/strong>which is providing a free course on Workday. I think you better have a look over it for easy understanding.<\/p>\n

#4: Duration to learn Workday???<\/strong><\/p>\n

I learned Workday within four weeks. You cannot learn Workday just by reading documents and preparing<\/a> <\/span>by yourself. You need to practice it daily so that you will get the required knowledge.<\/p>\n

#5:<\/strong> Does training is required to learn Workday????<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are a working professional, then I advise you to join online training so that it\u2019ll be easy for you to manage your time.<\/p>\n

And the best thing about online training is that they provide you tenant<\/a> <\/span>access so that you can practice it daily.<\/p>\n

I also had the experience of online training<\/a><\/span>. It helped me a lot, and the guidance which you get from the trainers will fetch you.<\/p>\n

#6: Interview Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n

After I had my training, I uploaded my resume<\/a><\/span> to Naukri. To clear any interview<\/a><\/span>, you must be good at basics. I got very few calls, but the confidence which I got from them is precious.<\/p>\n

All you need to clear them is a good understanding of the Workday and a practical approach towards it.<\/p>\n

And finally, my hard work got paid and got placed in one of the leading organizations.<\/p>\n

#7: How do I get Certification????<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before giving a certification exam, I suggest you search for the companies that are partnered with Workday because you cannot get certification<\/a> <\/span>anywhere apart from Workday or workday partnered companies.<\/p>\n

In case you want to shift to another company, and you have done your certification, then it\u2019ll be valid if your new organization is a partnered company.<\/p>\n

So, I suggest you choose your company wisely.<\/p>\n

#8: Prospectus or Scope of Workday<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a better future for Workday shortly. Right now, you can see organizations are entirely looking for cloud solutions as they can save time and also can implement the work efficiently.<\/p>\n

Try to get upgraded to other Workdays modules as well, as the advanced modules will fetch you a lot in your career.<\/span><\/p>\n

What I\u2019m trying to say is to have patience so that you can create the right path for your career.<\/span><\/p>\n

#9: Payscale<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The minimum pay scale for a Workday professional in India is around 15 lacs per annum.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, it varies depends upon the company and your experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workday consultant will be a better choice if you want to start your career in Workday.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I mentioned earlier, choose your organization wisely.<\/span><\/p>\n

#10: Workday Partnered companies<\/strong><\/p>\n

  2. IBM<\/li>\n
  3. Deloitte<\/li>\n
  4. Capgemini<\/li>\n
  5. BNB<\/li>\n
  6. PWC etc.,\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Conclusion<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Workday is providing plenty of opportunities. So give your best and try to learn<\/a><\/span> it effectively to get hold of a job in a good organization.<\/p>\n

    To remind you again, Workday doesn\u2019t require any prerequisites.<\/p>\n
