Suite flow\/ Workflow???<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Suite is a tool designed to facilitate and automate business processes that require tasks to perform by people.<\/em><\/p>\n

It ensures the right work is brought in the right sequence at the right time to the right people. <\/em><\/p>\n

Why do we need Workflow?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Workflow can be used to automate the following process.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Custom approval routing<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Apply validation<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Send emails<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Create related records<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Direct the tip user to acceptable forms within the interface and lots of a lot of.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Creating a Workflow in NetSuite:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • In NetSuite, go to Customization >Scripting>workflows>New.<\/em><\/li>\n
    • The workflow definition page will appear like below<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      On the same page we can see Initiation, hear we can see two types:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      • On the workflow Event definition page, make sure the Visual Builder is checked and click the button to open the Condition Builder.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • The Workflow Condition window appears.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Create Workflow states:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

            • The Workflow enters these two states when it keeps running on a chance. <\/em><\/li>\n
            • To change the name of the State 1, double tap the state in the diagrammed. <\/em><\/li>\n
            • In the Name box of the Workflow State window that shows up. <\/em><\/li>\n
            • Change the name to State<\/em><\/strong> 1<\/em><\/strong>: Entry and snap Save.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Repeat the same step for State 2:<\/em><\/strong> \u201cSee Opportunity\u201d and verify in workflow. <\/em><\/p>\n

              Create Actions:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

              This progression demonstrates to you proper methodologies to utilize the Workflow State window to add activities to a state. <\/em><\/p>\n

              The impacts added to the states execute as indicated by their triggers when the record enters the state in the work process. <\/em><\/p>\n

              In this progression, you include a Set Field Mandatory activity in <\/em><\/p>\n

              • State 1: Entry and a Go To Page activity in <\/em><\/li>\n
              • Step 2: See Opportunities.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • Click on the New Action button, a new action window appears. There select \u201cSet field mandatory\u201d link.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • After selecting Set field mandatory, a new window will appear their select parameter as \u201cTitle\u201d and check the Mandatory field and click on save. <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    • And repeat the same step for State 2 with new action as \u201cGo To Page\u201d link and select trigger type as \u201cEntry\u201d and parameter as Opportunities.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      • Verify that the action in the context panel.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        Create Transition<\/em><\/strong>: Here we can get to know how to create and edit a transition. <\/em><\/p>\n

                        • You can utilize the diagrammer to move a change among states and after that alter the progress properties. Any progressions made in the diagrammer are instantly spared. <\/em><\/li>\n

                          \u2022 On the Opportunities list page, open the recently created opportunity, click the System Information subtab, and then click the Workflow History subtab.<\/em><\/p>\n

                          \u2022 The Workflow History subtab shows the two states for the workflow, the date and time each state was entered and exited by the workflow, and the workflow execution log for each state:<\/em><\/p>\n

                          • Click the\u00a0Log\u00a0link for\u00a0State 1:<\/em><\/strong> Entry. The workflow execution log shows the triggers, actions, and transitions executed:<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
