\nAWS IAM User Creation<\/p>\n

What is AWS IAM????<\/p>\n

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a service that assists us to control access securely to AWS resources.<\/p>\n

We can use IAM to decide who is to be authenticated and authorized to use the resources.<\/p>\n

It allows you to manage access to:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Computing<\/p>\n

\u2022 Storage<\/p>\n

\u2022 Data Base<\/p>\n

\u2022 Application Services in the AWS cloud<\/p>\n

IAM users have Access control concept such as<\/p>\n

\u2022 Users<\/p>\n

\u2022 Groups<\/p>\n

\u2022 Information<\/p>\n

How to create IAM???<\/p>\n

Step:1 Firstly, you need to Login to your AWS console.<\/p>\n

\u2022 In the top search bar, type in IAM.<\/p>\n

(Or) You can go to All Services, select IAM under Security, Identity & Compliance as shown below.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Given below is the IAM dashboard. Here you will get all the information in gist about the IAM resources running.<\/p>\n

\u2022 To Create a new user, Click on Users.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u2022 Click on Add User to add a new user.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u2022 Set user details.<\/p>\n

Provide Username*, Access type*, Console password*. Then click on Next: Permissions.<\/p>\n

Set permissions for Admin<\/p>\n

Add user to the group (or) Copy permissions from existing user (or) Attach existing policies directly. Select the required option.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Here I\u2019m selecting Attach existing policies directly.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Click Next: Review<\/p>\n

\u2022 Under Filter policy, type your required policy Name based on your requirement.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Here, I\u2019m selecting Read-only Access.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Click on Review.<\/p>\n

\u2022 You successfully created the User.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Now select the below given hyperlink or you can select send an email. You receive an e-mail on your registered Mail Id.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Click on Close.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Here, you will be asked for the IAM Username and Password which you\u2019ve created.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Now, in the top search bar, type in S3.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Click on S3.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2022 Select Create Bucket<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2022 Enter Bucket Name, Region and then Click on Next.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u2022 Here it will ask you set the properties based on your requirement. Click on Next after that.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Set Permissions based on your requirement, and then Click on Next.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Click on Create Bucket<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here, it will throw an error Access Denied (because we have given Read Only Access).
